Return, Refund and Warranty Policy

LIGHTIO's Return & Refund Policy is Risk-Free for the consumers, but Fair-Play for the seller. It applies to all of our products.


A customer has 30 days from receiving the product to return for refund for any reason or no reasons at all. A customer can always get the money back of the product's price. But there could be a issue on refunding the shipping cost. This is to ensure that a genuine customer has $0 risks, but frivolous and malicious purchases can be reduced. The details are described bellow.


If there is any falt on us, e.g., if there is a manufacturing scar on the cover that the customer can not tolerate, then the customer will also get the shipping cost back without any risks. The detailed conditions for the refund of the shipping cost, i.e., USPS postage, is described bellow.


If the product received by a customer has any defects, or does not work as described on our web site, and the product is returned in the same condition as it was received, the customer can get a full refund including our shipping cost. The returning cost of a USPS first class rate may also be reimbursed depending on each case. But we do not send prepaid shipping labels to customers.


If the product received by a customer does work as described, but does not suit the customer's special needs or preferences, e.g., does not fit in your special wheelchair setting, and the product is returned in the same condition as it was received, the customer can get a full refund of the product price, but the shipping costs may or may not be refundable.


A customer has special conditions with special needs or preferences is strongly adviced to contact us first to see if our products are usable for such conditions or not. If we tell you that the product should work for you but does not work out, and the product is returned in the same condition as it was received, the customer can get a full refund including our shipping costs. Otherwise, shipping costs both ways are not refundable.


If the product is returned not in the same condition as it was received, a small amount may be deducted from the refund for the parts and labor. For example, if the original wire tie is missing, $1.00 will be deducted; if the USB cable is missing, $5.00 will be deducted; if the key-panel film is missing, $3.00 will be deducted; if the User Instruction sheet is missing, no money will be deducted.


A customer may request a free exchange for a new one within 60 days of receiving. After 60 days, a customer can get a free repairment for up to 1 year.


Please bear in mind that each return will cost us more than $10.00 to examine and rework the unit. If we need to refund you the shipping cost, it'll cost us more than $20.00. When have any doubts, please contact us for any questions or concerns in advance.
